If there's one good thing to come out of 2020, it's my new found talent of creating Spotify playlists. I started a playlist called "supercut of us" (yes, that is a Lorde reference) which can only be described as what falling in love in the movies sounds like.
Is it a way for me to project my loneliness from being single onto music? Yes, but don't we all do that?
Daydream you're in the passenger seat with your partner driving (or your celebrity crush) or having a melodramatic argument on the roof of a New York City apartment. Start listening and yearn like you're in a period drama starring Keira Knightley.
Here are some of my favorite picks from "supercut of us" and be sure to follow for more daydream soundtracks!
"Supercut" by Lorde (Yes, I had to)
"No Reason To Run" by Cold War Kids
"Two Slow Dancers" by Mitski
"A Sunday Kind of Love" by Etta James
"Pancakes for Dinner" by Lizzie McAlpine
"Want U Around" by Omar Apollo feat. Ruel
"nobody else" by LANY
